Upcoming Events: Monday, Sept.22nd - Homework sheet due today! Wednesday, Sept. 24th, Late Start Friday, Sept. 26th - Student Council Voting, Social Studies Test Student Council If your student signed up as a student council candidate, they may create two "campaign" posters to bring this week. One to put in our classroom and one in the hallway, if they would like. Students should prepare a short speech (no more than 2 minutes) about why they want to be a part of the student council. We will be taking two representatives from each of classroom, one boy and one girl. Classes hear speeches and vote this Friday through a Google Form that will be on our Google classroom.    Social Studies Test On Friday this week we will have our first social studies test. A study guide will be coming home on Wednesday with all the information we have been learning during the past few weeks.. Tuesday, Sept. 16th - NWEA Reading Test Wednesday, Sept. 17th, Late Start, Finish NWEA Reading Friday, Sept. 19th - Last day to sign up for Student Council Election NWEA This week we will be taking our NWEA tests for Reading. We will be testing for short blocks of time in the morning and afternoon this week. Students have plenty of time to finish so they will not get too overwhelmed. Thank you for having your child here on time in the mornings during this week! Homework Questions On Monday, we will be handing out our homework sheet and discussing our expectations. Our biggest goal with homework is for students to read every night for 20 minutes. Please watch for the sheet to come home on Monday's.
