  Upcoming Events: Monday, Feb.2nd - Homework sheet due today! Tuesday, Feb. 3rd- Social Studies test! Wednesday, Feb.4th - Late Start Ice Skating in the morning! (Ettinger 10:00, Peek 10:45) Social Studies Test We have finished Chapter 3 in Social Studies and are reviewing Monday, with the test on Tuesday.  A blue study guide was sent home on Friday.  Please review the information with your child so they can be prepared to do their best on the test!  Healthy Snacks We have snack time daily right before our morning recess. Lately more and more students are beginning to bring in snacks that are not healthy choices. Please do not send sugary items like little debbie cakes, cookies, etc. as a snack. Healthier options include: crackers, cheese, fruit/veggies, fruit bars, granola bars, etc. We appreciate your help with this! We are continuing to work on our multiplication facts and earn a pizza party. Tuesday, Jan. 13th - NWEA Math in Morning Wednesday, Jan.14th - NO Late Start, NWEA Math in Morning Lincoln Talent Show Information If your child is interest in auditioning for the Lincoln Talent Show, please click on this link . Mid-Year NWEA Testing Our students will be taking the mid-year NWEA math test on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. These are the same tests given in the fall and spring and are used as a measure to check growth. There is no need to prepare at home other than to discuss the importance of good test taking skills: taking your time, doing your best, staying focused, eating a good breakfast, drinking water, etc.  Pizza Multiplication We have been working very hard at learning many different strategies for solving multiplication problems.
