Student Council

If your student signed up as a student council candidate, they may create two "campaign" posters to bring this week. One to put in our classroom and one in the hallway, if they would like. Students should prepare a short speech (no more than 2 minutes) about why they want to be a part of the student council. We will be taking two representatives from each of classroom, one boy and one girl. Classes hear speeches and vote this Friday through a Google Form that will be on our Google classroom.  


Social Studies Test

On Friday this week we will have our first social studies test. A study guide will be coming home

on Wednesday with all the information we have been learning during the past few weeks.. Please this review

review the information on the sheet with your child so they can be prepared. We will also be reviewing in class.

 

Snacks/Water Bottles

Just a reminder...please send a healthy snack for your child each day, as well as a water bottle that can be refilled throughout the day. Thank you!

Mystery Readers Sign Up

If you attended Back to School Night, and signed up to be a Mystery Reader, we have you down for the date you signed up for, and will reach out when it is close to your time to read. If you were unable to attend Back to School Night, and missed signing up for a Mystery Reader, please sign up below with the dates that are left to fill. We usually do these on Thursday afternoons, but if that day doesn't work for you, we can find another time.

Volunteering

Please make sure to fill out the link to make sure you can volunteer in our classroom throughout

the year. You must have this filled out to volunteer at Class Parties, Mystery Reader, etc.
