Thank you so much for attending your child’s conference and all your support from home this first trimester. Research has shown that kids do much better in school when their parents play an active role in their education. A little of your time – every day – makes a big difference. Parents who ask daily about school and check over schoolwork send a powerful message about the value of learning. We appreciate all you do to support your children!
We are nearing the end of Chapter 2, Michigan's First People. Please be on the look out for a study guide to come home on Tuesday (pink paper). Please review this information with your child so they are ready for Friday's test.
Math Unit 3 Home Resources
We are beginning Unit 3, Addition and Subtraction within 1,000, this week. In this unit, students
use their understanding of place value to round whole numbers and to add and subtract within 1,000. They also solve two-step problems. Check out the family support video!
