Social Studies Test

We have finished Chapter 3 in Social Studies and are reviewing Monday, with the test on Tuesday.  A blue study guide was sent home on Friday.  Please review the information with your child so they can be prepared to do their best on the test! 

Healthy Snacks

We have snack time daily right before our morning recess. Lately more and more students are beginning to bring in snacks that are not healthy choices. Please do not send sugary items like little debbie cakes, cookies, etc. as a snack. Healthier options include: crackers, cheese, fruit/veggies, fruit bars, granola bars, etc. We appreciate your help with this!

Ice Skating
We look forward to the Lincoln Tradition of Ice Skating every year! You are more than
welcome to join us. Please see the times below that we will be skating. We will be skating
with our first grade buddies. Lastly, please click the link to choose your child's shoe size,
so we can make a name tag for them, and this will make it easier to get them skates when

Pizza Multiplication Continues!

We are continuing to work on our multiplication facts and earn a pizza party. For each multiplication level they pass, students will add another piece to make a whole pizza.  Our pizza party will on February 27th.  Please look for your child's corrected quiz papers coming home. Students are realizing there are facts they have not put to memory yet and will need to do extra practice on their facts at home.  Learning their multiplication facts will be key to their success in math.  Thank you for your support from home!

Valentine's Day Party

We will be having our Valentine's Day Parties on Friday, February 13th from 11-12pm. Reminder that this is a half day of school. We will be passing out valentines to each other, however, no need to make a box, as we will be decorating bags to put Valentine's inside during class. We both have sent home our class lists on pink paper, but in case you missed it. The links are provided below. We have emailed all our volunteers for the party already, but if you are interested in coming, you are welcome too, just make sure to complete a background check form, and let us know.
