Spring Check - In

Spring is definitely in the air! With all the year end events, students are certainly beginning to get excited. However, we still have seven more weeks of school left and much testing still to complete. We'd appreciate it if you could have a conversation or two about school and learning expectations as we close out this year. Please encourage your child to continue to stay focused on doing his/her best work, persevering through difficult challenges socially and academically, and staying the course through the end. We thank you for your support in helping your child finish the year strong!

End of the Year Dates

Below are a list of events that are coming up in the future. We wanted to share them with you in case you are looking for a time to volunteer or attend a field trip. More information will be coming on all of these events. 

Upcoming Events:

Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend - May 1st (Chaperones needed)

3rd-5th Grade Track Meet - May 8th at the high school (Parents may volunteer to help or just attend)

Reading Camp at Lincoln - Friday, May 22nd (Volunteers needed)

Lincoln School Picnic/Field Day - Tuesday, May 26th (During the day, volunteers needed)

M-STEP TESTING

We will not be testing this week. Our testing dates are April 21st and 26th for M-STEP Math and ELA. If possible, please avoid scheduling any appointments around these times. Thank you so much!


Multiplication and Division Facts...ICE CREAM!

This week we will begin our next multiplication and division challenge...ice cream!  Please have your child continue reviewing their multiplication and division facts.  The ice cream challenge will be very similar to the pizza challenge we did in January, but instead of slices, students will earn ice cream scoops and toppings. We will celebrate everyone's hard work learning their multiplication and division facts with an ice cream party at the end of the year. :)
